Dan Cobley

Dan is Managing Director of Google in the UK & Ireland – the biggest market for Google outside the US and the most advanced major country in terms of e-commerce and online advertising spending.

Dan joined Google as Marketing Director, UK, Ireland and Benelux in May of 2006, and was promoted to VP Marketing, Northern and Central Europe in late 2010. In this role he was responsible for all aspects of European business and consumer marketing at Google. He moved to the UK MD role in October 2011

Prior to Google, Dan has spent 15 year in marketing, operations and consulting roles with Capital One, Ask Jeeves, Pepsi/Walkers and Monitor Company.

Outside work, Dan enjoys adventure holidays and spending precious time with his two 'pre-teen' boys.
